    Two water plants, constructed almost entirely with Iraqi labor and turned over to Ministry of Water personnel, provide clean drinking water to more than 500,000 Iraqis, as well continuing employment for Iraqi contractors. Another smaller plant in Basrah Province that serves 3,000 Abo Bosari residents, was completed in September, a month ahead of schedule.
