Obama's socialism that is being presented under the guise of a tax cut is nothing more than robbery. The only difference between his thievery and the guy holding a gun to your head demanding your money- is the gun.
The guy uses the gun for force, Obama uses government for force. At least the guy with the gun is honest about his real intention.
It's not right in either case. It's not theirs to take. It's not ours to accept. Freedom is not possible when government tries to force equality.

I'll make something clear here, since some people seem to think I'm "elite" (referencing a comment on the article Money To Burn). I am one of the 40% of American people who pay no income tax that Obama likes to say will get a "tax cut". I don't make anywhere near $250K, I mean $200K... er, I mean $150K...

...or was it $125K per year? Hell ,who knows? They've changed their mind on that one so many times it's hard to be clear on it.
Anyhow, I still don't make anywhere near any of those amounts, so that would put me in the group that Obama promises a "tax break" to. Even though I pay no income tax, he still wants to take money from someone else and give it to me. What he's calling a tax break is nothing more than a handout that I never asked for.
I've committed to burning that check for a reason. Would an extra $1000 be nice? Of course it would. Most of us could use a little extra cash. But I don't go force someone to give me money when I need it. I work my ass off until I've got it! And I'm proud of that fact.

So, when I say I'll burn that check, I mean it. I will not sell out to government at any price. Obama cannot buy me into dependency. He can't buy my approval. My freedom, my liberty, my pride, my self sufficiency, and my aspirations are not for sale.
Liberals are always generous with other people's money, but it's not even about generosity. It's not even about them wanting to make your life better. They present it that way, but in the end the real root of the socialist game is to lull the people into dependency.
Why? Because your dependency on them ensures that they remain in power. The more people who come to count on the government to wipe their collective ass for them, the more dependency they can sucker you into, the more likely you are to keep voting for them.
If you seriously believe that it's anything other than that, then you are an absolute fool. There is just no other way to put it. I've seen some very intelligent people reduce themselves to simple fools over the last couple of years.

Now, if you don't believe it's about power over you, all you have to do is pay attention to the words of one of these left nuts- Howard Dean:
“Republicans had a chance to rule. They failed miserably. I think it’s time to give the other party a chance,” Dean said on MSNBC.

The key word is rule. It's a little insight into how they view their position.
Rule: control, government, or dominion: under the rule of a dictator.

Those of you who will vote for Obama are selling out. You're saying that your freedom is for sale for the paltry price of $500-$1000. You have no core. You have no concept of what freedom is... and all it took was a few flowery speeches.
